The Basics

Kurt was born and raised in the small town of Archbold, Ohio. After high school he moved to the state of Indiana to attend college at Taylor University. At Taylor he met his wife Brooke, and theyve now been married for 4 years. Throughout their marriage they have served in youth ministry and love spending time with teens. They have been at Northview Church for nearly 4 years and love being part of a church that is passionate about youth. In his free time Kurt enjoys golfing, basketball, and hanging out with his wife and son, Corbin.

Junior High Pastor

My responsibilities at church are...Junior high ministry 6th-8th grade. I love working with junior high students because they are real and ministry can only happen if you are working with the real person. I believe that junior highers are real because they don’t hide behind a mask like an adult may. When you look at them, “what you see is what you get.”

My favorite thing about being at Northview is...The church has a heart for teens and as a youth pastor it’s great to have a church that supports youth with both resources and encouragement.

If I had my dream vacation I’d...Take my wife to a nice warm beach, we’d swim with dolphins, eat a lot of chips and salsa, and water ski behind large cruise ships.
